Pottery for the Table:    PLATTERS / SERVING WARE / DINNERWARE

Use platters/serving ware to hold fruit or an herbed roasted chicken.  Pie plates -- also useful for serving other creations -- can bake and make an elegant presentation of your favorite recipe (without additional dish washing!).  Use plates or platters to create interest on a blank wall when not on the dining table.  Use them ... for whatever you desire! All pieces are can go from oven or microwave to the table; pop them in the dishwasher when you're done. But please don't use them on top of the stove!

Platters/serving ware can be large (13" to 14" in diameter) or small.   Serving ware may have more depth, to hold juices.  Prior to using, warm them in a low oven or microwave for hot or warm food.
